Caleb Windsay

Caleb Windsay, known as Shake the Great, was raised in New Orleans East, where he cultivated his musical talents learning directly from his family, instilling in him a deep love and appreciation for music from an early age. He continued to refine his skills at Lusher Charter School under the tutelage of Kent Jordan before furthering his education at LSU. With over thirty years devoted to music, Caleb is a versatile musician, excelling not only on the trombone but also on the bass guitar, piano, and drums. His career highlights include sharing the stage with icons like Common and collaborating with Grammy Award winning multi-instrumentalist Nicholas Payton. Offstage, Caleb is a hardcore gamer and aspiring chef, infusing his diverse interests with the same passion and creativity that define his musical artistry.
